The Southern Area of the Links, Inc.

President's Message

Imagine a chain of beautiful, committed, caring, erudite, and talented women uniting as friends and coalescing their strength to enrich lives in their community. Such provides a picture of the Links, Inc., the Tuscaloosa Chapter. Our desire and resolve to bond together for the betterment of our community is reflected in our 2005-2007 working theme, … and This I Promise: Honoring My Commitment to Friendship and Service.

Our chapter program reflects our national program targets: National Trends, International Trends, Services to Youth, and The Arts, relative to needs in our community. Through our Agenda for Success—tactical education, health initiatives, and legislative ventures—we are Touching Tomorrow Today. From scholarships to global assistance; health screenings to organ donations; issue awareness to civic advocacy; we are making a difference.

Our service to others also shows gratitude for the blessings we have been given, and we invite you to express yours. Check our calendar for a listing of events and activities, and join us. The gifts we pass on will benefit the recipients and simultaneously bear witness to our humanity and yours.
